Forlast_chael: I had some inspiration this morning (as its 4:20am in NZ) while I was concept-ing some original designs for the Hokonui Fashion Design Awards I am entering next year (plug! lol)
And I was thinking about shapes, I thought: "Well, if you think about it, HQ's dress in Abi's pic would have diamonds in it some where, as her outfit in the comic's is covered with them...like Poison Ivy's Dress has Flowers, HQ's would have Diamonds...so I did a quick version of what I thought the Front of her dress would be like:( Here is the Pic! )
This only took me a few minutes so its not well drawn but I felt the need to draw it...

I need to do some Concepts and I can't find ANY of my Graphite Pencils!!!!!
I only have a normal HB Pencil, and I only use that for light drawing, so I don't get as many rub-out marks...
I have a feeling that they are all some place behind my Computer Desk....so on my knees I go to search...

Sooo. I didn't get the Job I went for...they were gunna ring the people tonight, and unless I suddenly became the worlds deepest sleeper (as the phone is right next my bed, and I was having a nana-nap) they didn't ring me...
But good luck tostarfirephoenix on her one...
I haven't sewn much in the last few days, but I feel that need to make my overskirt...but I always want to sleep when the best times for sewing arrive...

I got my new Victorian Over-skirt pattern this morning when I got up, and when I opened it I will admit that I fell in love with it!! Yes, I know that I haven't even started to make it yet, but its an awesome pattern! I will be buying again from A Rare Notion, you can count on it! :D
My Job interview is today at 5:30, well that is what I heard on the phone, as I was half-asleep at the time of the call, I am unsure...:S Oh well, I will just show up at that time and see what happens...
All I am waiting for now, is the Bustle pattern from Laughing Moon...I can't wait! :D

I found what I had started of Teyla SGA Season 2 Gym Outfit...I was making it for my Cousin about a year ago...it got lost in my closet and I found it just now while looking for my copy of Stephen King's 'Cell'...I didn't find the book...

Well, I am as poor as I can be...I just brought myself two new Patterns - one from ARN and the other from LafnM...awesome stores! I recommend!
They should get here in a week or two if I am lucky....but until I actually get them I will have to eat nothing...lol

Well I have finished all I can do for the Corset, and thankspinkdiamond for the tips! I got it to work! XD
I am on to the Chemise then I am going to buy a new pattern for the Drawers...I should be finished those in the next week or two...Here is a pic of what I have done so far:
Be warned, I have put in the front panels on the wrong side, and that this is my first Corset so I know I have done some things wrong with it...
And I am please to say that I am now officially going to Armageddon Auckland this year. I am getting my Gold Pass within two weeks. :D
I better get working on my costumes, as I have yet to finish Inara's Peach Gown and I have to pick I third one...any ideas...my Kate from A Knight's Tale went out the window a few weeks ago...:S
